My goal is to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable and can fully enjoy making music. In addition to learning tunes, music theory and technique, I place great emphasis on creativity and self-expression—we compose, play by ear, and improvise together.

This approach helps students develop their musical skills in a well-rounded way, discover their own musical voice, and build a deep connection with music, allowing them to express themselves freely.

Who the Lessons Are For
Lessons are designed for students of all levels — from complete beginners with no prior musical experience to students of music colleges and universities.

They are suitable for those wishing to learn piano, as well as for pianists, singers, and instrumentalists interested in developing improvisation, composition, and arranging skills, gaining a deeper understanding of musical structure, and cultivating a conscious and informed performance practice.

Lessons are offered in various styles and genres, including classical music, pop, and jazz.
Lesson Description
Each lesson is individually tailored to the student’s level, goals, and musical interests.

The teaching incorporates various methods of the classical Russian piano school and Swiss jazz education, acquired through study and collaboration with leading American musicians, which allows for a combination of a solid technical foundation with the development of musical thinking, improvisation, and creative freedom.
Depending on the student’s level, lessons may include:
  • Piano technique: from a classical foundation to a more flexible, improvisational approach
  • Harmony and theory: understanding the structure of music, not just reading notes
  • Improvisation: developing creative freedom and the ability to express oneself in the moment
  • Composition: guidance in creating original music, from initial ideas to completed pieces
  • Ear training, rhythm, and musical thinking: building a strong foundation for confident playing and artistic growth
  • Ensemble playing and interaction: developing communication, listening skills, and collaborative performance experience
